Packit Gourmet has a full lineup of meals that are perfect for delicious family meals. Our testers sampled a variety of trail meals with their children and unanimously voted the Diner Deluxe Scrambled Eggs combined with Cranberry Orange Griddle Scones the best breakfast they’d ever had on a campout. The eggs are super easy to make, and the scones are skillet baked over a low flame, no special tools required.

Packit uses good dried eggs in their meals. If you expect typical dried eggs from past memories you will be pleasantly surprised. They are not rubbery or watery and taste like fresh eggs

If carrying a frying pan isn't an option, then using our Boilable–Bag™ technique will do the trick. Fill your Boilable–Bag™ (purchase separately) with mix (pour in as a mix or mix in the bag), cinch with a tie or a clip and immerse in boiling water. Open and stir midway through. Remove when done. Recycle with a hot cuppa Joe!

This breakfast was easy to prepare and tastes like a restaurant style omelet (without the cheese of course) You do need a flat pan to finish preparing and ease of cooking, vs a pot. I would personally buy more for glamping, not backpacking. But I would absolutely buy again!

My favorite breakfast on the trail. I was trying to use packaged instant oatmeal but it just didn't stick with me through the morning hike, my blood sugars would drop quickly an hour or so after eating. But these eggs not only taste delicious but gave me enough energy to get through to lunch. This is a great product!!

Looking at the powdered eggs I was a bit skeptical, but boy was I proved wrong. So fluffy and flavorful. Had them with the jalepeno cheddar biscuits with gravy and it was an incredibly filling breakfast. Will absolutely have them again on the next trip.

So, we were a little scared about powdered eggs. We all had past horror stories. But, these were excellent! It was difficult to tell the difference between these and scrambled made at home with real eggs. The trick is to add the mix slowly to the skillet, and use spatula to fluff them up as you add the mix. We also tried them with some shelf stable sausage (diced) and extra cheese, which made for a very filling breakfast.

These are great. Quick, and taste like fresh eggs. The serving size is large too, 2 people can eat from one packit pretty well if you have another breakfast item to go along with it.
