Really good. Tried using a skillet but burnt the bottom. Tried a second time using our oven in the RV, came out MUCH better. More control of the heat and using the skillet over a fire or coals.
-
What a treat! I brought extra olive oil for dipping, herbs, and another time I brought a honey packet. Fun treat when you're tired and need a little something.

This is a fan fave with my crowd. We always pack one and have made it so many ways. You can actually bake it in orange peels which is cool or wrap it around a stick to save pan clean up. Pack some honey or Jam!

I was dubious that this would work, but it was SO GOOD! Slight onion flavor and a texture between a biscuit and bread. Its hot crispy crust on the outside and the warm soft bread-y inside was a real treat on our last backpacking trip!

The kids love this bread! It's a great addition to a meal with stew or soup or eggs or pretty much anything. How long does a package last, generally? I'm wondering how effective it would be to stock up. Thank you!

Wonderful bread! I'd eat this anytime, not just on a trail. Perfect with spaghetti or a hearty soup. More than enough for two and super easy to make.
-
As always, I try new products at home before hitting the trail. Cooked on low heat, using aluminum foil as cover. Cooked up perfectly, and tasted great. 5 stars.

Simply the best! Easy to make and turns out well. Nice to have warm bread to sop up some of the beef stew and gumbo liquids with. Wish I had been smart enough to take some butter packets from McDonalds...

Just fixed some of this bread last night (pre-hike testing ). Its easy to mix, cooks up pretty fast and tastes darn good! It will be going on my CDT section hike in June!
