Honestly, nothing beats one of these smoothies as a mid-day snack/lunch on a hot day. On a recent backpacking trip, I planned to bring a couple smoothies for mid-day snacks and that was one of the things I was looking forward to the most and it did not disappoint.

The Berry Berry Jump Start Smoothie is so delicious on trail. I love the macros and the taste; it has the perfect balance of not-too-sweet, not-too-tart, and just creamy enough. After bodybuilding for so many years I just cannot drink protein shakes and this smoothie is wholesome and is perfect for mornings where I just want to get going on trail and, since it includes the perfect balance of protein, carbs, and fat, I know that I'm getting a berry good "jump start" to my day.

This is a great smoothie. I'm only giving it four stars because I prefer the taste of the peach smoothie more. The consistency is good. It's easy to make and great for rushed mornings.

I’m not a big fan of breakfasts on the trail, but this is a great alternative. It’s quick,‘flavorful, and easy to stomach!

Loved it! My only mistake was drinking it a couple hours before dinner. It was very filling and delicious.

I loved how easy it was for a morning I didn’t feel like doing anything too complicated. Great protein levels although a bit heavy on the whey side. Would’ve been way better with cooler water. All in all, I’d give it another go.

I took several of these Berry Berry Jump Start Smoothies with me on a 4-day backpacking & climbing trip to Como Lake in Colorado. It was really handy to not have to heat water and being able to drink it right from the pouch made it that much more convenient. There is a slight protein powder taste to this drink but there is 34grams of protein in each pouch. There were also chunks of berries. I will definitely be purchasing this again for my next extended backpacking trip. BTW…I found it was much easier to get this smoothie to reconstitute when I would just seal the bag and squeeze it every few minutes versus when I tried to stir it.

I tried this flavor (the "old" one) and the "Eat-A-Peach" flavor. I Liked them both. The colder your water is, the better this tastes- more like a shake, albeit a watery shake. The bag you mix them in is just stiff enough to drink right out of the bag. Sadly, they don't have the "Eat-A-Peach" flavor anymore. Too bad, it had chunks of real peach in it.

The Fruit Smoothie made for a great desert and goes very well with the 151 rum that I carry as fuel, antiseptic and "pain killer".
