Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad

blackened-spiced chicken with celery, chives & cranberries in a creamy ranch dressing

Our easy-prep, protein packed (47 g) Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad tastes like the chicken-salad dear-ole-Mom used to make — with a cajun kick! It features blackened-spiced diced chicken (cage-free), parmesan cheese, chopped red onion, celery, green bell peppers and slightly sweetened cranberries – tossed with a creamy dressing.

With the equivalent of 1/3 pound of fresh chicken, this hearty lunch can be enjoyed straight from the pouch or paired with a BYO-Bread-product of your choice!

UPDATE for long-time buyers of our Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad - our chef has magicked away the mayonnaise packets and replaced them with her own powdered recipe. Less weight, less mess, less trash but ALL of the same great flavor!

My favorite by a mile. I honestly don’t know what they do down there in Texas but their food wins all the awards in my book.

My favorite by a mile. I honestly don’t know what they do down there in Texas but their food wins all the awards in my book. These are the kind of meals I could actually eat at home. My personal favorites are the All-American Burger Wrap, the Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad, the Texas Mesquite Chicken Salad and the Big’un Burrito. The two drawbacks to Pack-it: Several aren’t that light (the Shepherd’s Cottage Pie weights 10.4oz!) and secondly they aren’t cheap (as a believer in getting what you pay for, I’m alright spending the extra dime). Keep in mind that they make these meals as the orders roll in so be sure to order in advance.

This was the first meal I tried from PackitGourmet and it was killer. I didn't hydrate it long enough, the first time but it was still good. I recommend hydrating it an hour before lunchtime and then it's perfect. I had it with crackers, would be good in tortilla or just fork it.

I didn't have any issues with it hydrating properly. I ate half of it with crackers and the other half I ended up making a sandwich with later. It tastes like you made it at home. I'm coming back for another one.

I recently had the opportunity to try Packit Gourmet's Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad Backpacking Meal, and I was very impressed. The meal is made with all-natural, dehydrated ingredients, and it is gluten-free. It is also very lightweight, weighing in at just 2.8 ounces. To prepare the meal, I simply added 3/4 cup of cool water to the dehydrated ingredients and let it sit for 5 minutes. The chicken salad was ready to eat in no time, and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the ranch dressing added a nice touch. I also appreciated the addition of the cranberries, which added a bit of sweetness and acidity. Overall, I was very impressed with Packit Gourmet's Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad Backpacking Meal. It is a delicious, lightweight, and easy-to-prepare meal that is perfect for backpacking and other outdoor activities. Here are some pros and cons of the meal: Pros: Delicious Lightweight Easy to prepare Gluten-free Cons: Can be a bit messy to eat May not be suitable for everyone's taste Overall, I would highly recommend Packit Gourmet's Cajun Ranch Chicken Salad Backpacking Meal to anyone looking for a delicious, lightweight, and easy-to-prepare meal for their next outdoor adventure.

Just completed a backpacking trip to Havasu Falls. I brought several brands of dehydrated meals. The Packit brand meals were BY FAR the best meals. Delicious and filling. You wouldn't know they were dehydrated. Thank you!
