Why wait until after the trip to get that burger you're craving? "This actually tastes like it came off the grill," says one tester. The meat is a little crumbly but not dry; wrap it in a tortilla (BYO) with ketchup, mayo, mustard and relish (included in separate packets, so yes, you can have it your way). Testers also really liked this company's deli-style Roast Beef Wrap.

We recommend that all of our hot meals spend time "steep-cooking™" while snuggled in a Cook-in-Cozy™. We find this method promotes a more consistent temperature and steady cook time for Cook-in-Bag™ preparation; and results in a better serving temperature for your meal. This is by far the best meal by far! I always have 1 or 2 of these in my bear vault with tortillas for my overnight campouts.
-
This is my favorite and I've found it to be versatile. The first time I used it as instructed (with tortillas), but, I've also added the meat crumbles to mashed potatoes and rice sides and it works.

BOMB! these are a great and easy lunch on the trail!

This is by far my favorite. The only problem for me is the sodium level is high. Wish I could get this with a lower level due to the fact I have high blood pressure.

I really enjoyed this on trail. I think there are two keys to making these awesome. Any rehydrated meal actually. First time they they were just ok. Second time I changed approach and it was way better. Take a small handful of diced fresh onion and put in bag. Whole onion super easyvto take on trail and pays off in spades. After first 10 minutes, add another 1/8 cup of hot water. Steep for another 15 minutes. Go setup camp. After diced onions, a second dose of hot water, and a other 15 minutes steeping they were so much better! Not sure how 10 minutes and suggested amount of water could ever work.

This is one of my absolute favorite trail meals. It's packed with the savory goodness that I need after 18+ miles. The inclusion of condiments is the cherry on top. Anything that I don't use is a bonus for the next days meal.

One of my favorite meals on the trail! I really enjoyed the taste. Will purchase again.

This was an excellent meal. It’s definitely not enough calories as a stand alone for dinner. This would be an excellent lunch item or pair this with something else for dinner. I will definitely reorder!

Very close to the flavor & consistency of a loose burger from most Coney restaurants. Granted you’ll pay like $3 for this dish at National or Leo’s Coney Island, but it’s far less convenient and packable.
