Why wait until after the trip to get that burger you're craving? "This actually tastes like it came off the grill," says one tester. The meat is a little crumbly but not dry; wrap it in a tortilla (BYO) with ketchup, mayo, mustard and relish (included in separate packets, so yes, you can have it your way). Testers also really liked this company's deli-style Roast Beef Wrap.

This is by far my favorite. The only problem for me is the sodium level is high. Wish I could get this with a lower level due to the fact I have high blood pressure.

I really enjoyed this on trail. I think there are two keys to making these awesome. Any rehydrated meal actually. First time they they were just ok. Second time I changed approach and it was way better. Take a small handful of diced fresh onion and put in bag. Whole onion super easyvto take on trail and pays off in spades. After first 10 minutes, add another 1/8 cup of hot water. Steep for another 15 minutes. Go setup camp. After diced onions, a second dose of hot water, and a other 15 minutes steeping they were so much better! Not sure how 10 minutes and suggested amount of water could ever work.

This is one of my absolute favorite trail meals. It's packed with the savory goodness that I need after 18+ miles. The inclusion of condiments is the cherry on top. Anything that I don't use is a bonus for the next days meal.

One of my favorite meals on the trail! I really enjoyed the taste. Will purchase again.

This was an excellent meal. It’s definitely not enough calories as a stand alone for dinner. This would be an excellent lunch item or pair this with something else for dinner. I will definitely reorder!

Very close to the flavor & consistency of a loose burger from most Coney restaurants. Granted you’ll pay like $3 for this dish at National or Leo’s Coney Island, but it’s far less convenient and packable.

This is my second review of this product as I ate a lot of it as part of my food rotation on the PCT in 2019. About half way through the trip, I relegated this dinner to lunch as it was no longer enough calories for dinner, even with a burrito sized tortilla. As a lunch, I chose to add cold water to it in the morning when I was leaving camp. At lunch, I'd just add a little cold water to moisten it and let the cheese mix soften for a few minutes. It is just as delicious with cold water and this is definitely my favorite meal from PIG.

This one was definitely a WINNER! Great taste and just the right amount of condiments. Will order again!

This one is hard for me cause I didn’t love it but it tasted right. I won’t order again but not because of the foods taste just personal preference. If you love a burger jump on this it’s don’t worry. If burgers are just ok to you then look somewhere else
