This is very good. BUT, why not add a meat/rice version (not the Fajita, that one is just ok). So basically, Bean/Cheese/Mexican Rice/Chicken.... version?

So good! I especially love to put the water in cold, just before starting the hike in the morning, so it if perfect by lunchtime. This makes a delicious lunch nearly instant and so easy. I put it in tortillas, but it is great put of the bag. I definitely like it best with the, now optional, sauce.

It's so easy to gobble this burrito down. I will admit, the texture can be a bit paste-y (that doesn't bother me one bit, but I know some folks are particular about texture) but beyond that this one is a keeper. If I'm having a slower morning, I'll whip this up and make some eggs to have a hearty breakfast burrito that will keep me going well into the afternoon.

    frequently asked questions

    Why is a Cook–in–Cozy™ recommended?

We recommend that all of our hot meals spend time "steep-cooking" while snuggled in a Cook-in-Cozy. We find this method promotes a more consistent temperature and steady cook time for Cook-in-Bag preparation; and results in a better serving temperature for your meal. When not in use, our Cook-in-Cozy folds away nicely in your pack for storage and weighs in at only 1.4oz.

This is very good. BUT, why not add a meat/rice version (not the Fajita, that one is just ok). So basically, Bean/Cheese/Mexican Rice/Chicken.... version?

The best meal tgey sell by far! Excellent. Make it for breakfast, add bacon bits, etc., and have leftovers for lunch. Fantastic.

Delicious! Topped with some nootch & hot sauce packets, avocado, and Wendy's sour cream packets if I'm feeling extra fancy. This is a winner!

This is the favorite on trail for kids, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. It's simple without being dull and just cheesy enough. Have also eaten it without tortillas and it's still great!
