Curry Mango Chicken Salad

spiced chicken with diced mangos, green peas & zante currants in a curry-cream dressing

Our protein packed (46g) Curry Mango Chicken Salad boasts curry-spiced diced chicken (cage-free), parmesan cheese, chopped red onion and green peas with sweet mango chunks and zante currants — all in a creamy dressing for an easy cool-water-prep trail lunch.

With the equivalent of 1/3 pound of fresh chicken, this hearty lunch can be enjoyed straight from the pouch or paired with a BYO-Bread-product of your choice!

UPDATE for long-time buyers of our Curry Mango Chicken Salad - our chef has magicked away the mayonnaise packets and replaced them with her own powdered recipe. Less weight, less mess, less trash but ALL of the same great flavor!

Break from the uninspired trail meal and reach for this modern twist on chicken salad. "I loved the big, juicy hunks of meat with peas and currants, seasoned with mango and fragrant curry powder," says one tester, who rehydrated this cold-water-prep wrap on-trail in Washington's Wenatchee Mountains. "I stopped for one minute to add water to the bag so it would rehydrate while I hiked. Twenty minutes later, I sat down for a gourmet lunch." Mix in the included packet of ranch dressing to add creaminess - and an extra 11 grams of fat per serving. Great for chilly weather. BYO bread or tortilla.

Delicious! Different than a lot of lunches. Miles better than a tuna or chicken packet. Good portion size. Rehydrated perfectly! Delicious on Black Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits.

While everyone was having a boring lunch of jerky or having to break out their stoves to heat their meals, I was savoring my curry mango chicken salad. A++

REally good and liked that it only uses cold water. It took a little loner than the 10 min in water and 5 with the mayo, but worth the wait.

I recommend letting it soak 5-10 mins longer than what the package says but this (with a bit of black pepper) was so yummy we wished we had more of it after polishing it off.

Great flavor and content. Been using these cold soak salads for years on backpacking treks. Taste and performance excellent. Great to split for lunch on trail.

This is perfect. You will not be getting the curry burps on the trail with this dish. Very well balanced flavor I love the fresh veggies and fruit

We love this salad as an alternative to cheese and nut butters on our crackers. Highly recommended.
