i was surprised the first time i tried it how filling it was. this is the perfect meal for a cold night in camp. i recommend everyone keep one in their pack for emergencies

Definitely a top notch meal. I tried this past kayaking trip and it was so good. I added the water and the. Put in my boat, paddled a mile and then ate it. So good. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks PG for keeping flavor in the woods.

Cons: It's very sweet from the corn. I don't like to see the words "partially hydrogenated...oil" in the ingredient list. Pros: It's very tasty and satisfying. Overall: I can deal with the sweet. It actually balances with the hot nicely. Thought the USDA banned partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (otherwise known as trans fat), except for emergency rations. Many natural versions of palm and coconut oils work just as well. As far as the flavor, it's wonderful. Sweet and spicy.
